Trophies Of His Grace
During a very difficult time of trials in my life, I was able to glean a lot of help and inspiration from the story of Mary Magdalene at the tomb where Jesus had been placed.
It was in the very early hours of the morning of the resurrection, that Mary came to grieve over her loss of Jesus. Yet she was in for a surprise, for Jesus was no longer dead, but alive!
It was no coincidence, but rather divine providence that Jesus stayed long enough before ascending to His Father in Heaven, to first encounter Mary, of whom the Bible states, “He had cast out seven demons”.
The most broken and needy seem to be the ones who attract the visitation of the most marvelous person in the universe, Jesus Christ the Lord!
